Rock Jar (A09)

Is there anything sweeter than a small jar to hold your most precious treasures? This handmade rock jar has been perfectly crafted to keep safe any little thing you want to cherish. Thrown on the wheel, each piece is then altered and cut to create a jar. The lids are fitted with the best pieces of fallen wood that the forests around the studio have to offer. These jars are food safe so you can also keep some snacks handy if need be.

Each rock piece is thrown on the wheel and then altered to resemble the rocks we find in the creek and also each spring in the fields around the studio.

This piece holds ~8 oz.

These pieces must be hand washed, Take care with the lid and do not soak the lid in water.

Each piece is made in my home studio.

Measurements may vary due to the handmade nature of our work. During updates, questions on sizes may not be answered immediately. Note that these are glazed pieces, and glazes pool and drip in unexpected ways. Each spent its time in a different spot in the kiln, and can never be recreated.
