Why We Make
Each piece of Piper Pottery is handmade in our home studio, located on the banks of the Sangamon River in Seymour, IL. Natural objects, vintage bits, and a little bit of modern inspiration are baked together in the kiln to create our distinctive stoneware pottery.
Piper Pottery + Craft creates pottery for the home and garden in a modern yet rustic style, with clean lines and nature-inspired designs. Using both wheel thrown and hand built techniques, we specialize in creating unique miniature pieces for use in the home and garden. Several of our full-sized product lines utilize vintage doily impressions and fallen leaves, pairing contemporary vessels with timeless designs. Our vision is to connect people and clay; creating beautiful objects for everyday use. This pottery is made to be used daily and can be safely left outdoors most of the year.
Our shop carries ready-to-ship pottery in a variety of styles and we do accept custom & wholesale orders.
