Thorny Fairy House

I love spending time in my gardens - both indoors and out. Spend a little time in your garden finding the perfect place for this little piece of magic. We have honey locusts everywhere in the woods we hike, and it’s amazing to think that they needed their thorny outlook to protect themselves from ground sloths. Imagine meeting a ground sloth for real - amazing!

This house is thrown on the wheel and hand finished with a carved opening and honey locust thorns. The thorns have been slightly sanded at the tips to make them a little less painful. Real creatures may use this house, but it’s also the perfect spot for any number of magical creatures! If used outdoors, the thorns will eventually decay, but they can be easily replaced with any stemmed find from your favorite hiking path.
